haha it wouldn't let me post my first or last word correctly... golo is getting a little over the top

Fan ny packs jammed full of juice boxes and crack ers.

If you can afford it...the Grand Floridian is wonderful. We went in November and got up one morning and the whole place was decorated for Christmas and we never heard a thing. They had a 5 story Christmas tree in the middle of the lobby and a life size gingerbread house.

My family and I went to Disney with our children ages 7 and 2, I have to say it was fun especially for them. I have been about 15 times so it was not as fun for the adults but Disney World was the most fun for the 7 year old. He was able to get on all of the rides and even the baby was able to ride with us on alot of them. The Haunted Mansion and a few others were closing for repairs but were expected to be reopened by Dec.07. (I went last June) I would highly recommend Animal Kingdom for the little ones especially the safari ride. Make sure you do the fast past tickets it allows you to get a ticket and be at a ride at a certain time so the children are not standing in line. It depends on the ages of your children but my 7 year old did not like MGM except for the stunt show or Epcot, he said there was nothing to do cause he was to short for most rides. One more is Blizzard Beach, we had a blast there, Typhoon was not as good and also Wide World of Sports was fun to tour.

There is a restaurant on Main St. that does character meals with Winnie the Pooh's gang. I would recommend it if you children like Winnie the Pooh. Lunch is resonable for a once in a lifetime event. We did breakfast with Minnie at the Carribean hotel, I would have preferred Winnie personally.

We just went in January. I have a 6 and 1 year old. We just wung it and had a wonderful time. We spent 6 days in Disney and 1 in SeaWorld. My kids didn't get much from SeaWorld, they LOVED Disney. When my youngest slept, my hubby and I took turns sitting rides out. We split Magic Kingdom into 2 days. The first day we took it slow, did the parades, the second day my kids were ready to take on the other stuff. (my oldest likes to feel stuff out first) We made sure we had a sit down lunch and a late afternoon break. Some rides have a single rider enterance, great for Mom and Dad. I heard afterwards that you can get a special pass for a switch rider ticket, where you wait in line and Mom or Dad goes first then the other goes second that way the kids are always with an adult. I wish I knew about that earlier. The million dreams, hang out on Main St with your kids in sight early in the day. We got a special pass to meet Cinderella behind the scenes, my oldest was in LOVE. Have fun!

"take 3x5 index cards and when you get pictures with the characters, have them sign an index card."

Make sure the actual characters sign the card, not the Mom! LMAO I have pics of a Mom forging the signatures of the characters, then showing them to her son and telling him how she got all of them. I guess she didn't realize that Buzz Lightyear uses a stamp and not a pen? Not to mention that not all the characters that she forged are in the same park. Some are at different parks. Hopefully the kid will never learn any different.............

take 3x5 index cards and when you get pictures with the characters, have them sign an index card. when you "scrapbook" their experience they will have the signatures with the pictures. My daughter still pulls out her ablum talking about it. we took a train down their and stayed at Jazz inn. it was great. Hope to go again real soon!!!!!

Make sure you take advantage of the fast path. Use a stroller for sure (mine was 6 last time we went and we still used one). If your kids are picky about being wet, bring a change of clothes so they can enjoy all the rides. Epcot has kid stations in each country, a great way to engage kids in something that is otherwise heared to adults.

Say hi to Mickey. I am totally jealous!!

I've been to Disney World three years in a row the first week of December. I love it all. Small kids definitely have to go to the Magic Kingdom. We do the character breakfasts too. The smaller children really LOVE that. If you have girls, let them get the princess makeover. The girls really feel like little fairy princesses. I love MGM, Universal Studios, and the little ones will really enjoy Animal Kingdom too.

Now that my children are bigger, I strongly advocate staying on the premises just because of the shuttle services!
