traffic pet peeve

Alright...so I'm driving on I-40 from Johnston County this morning, and there is a wreck at the Jones Sausage Rd exit. Real shocker! Anyway, traffic on 40 is backed up past the Hwy 70 exit. I manage to get in the right lane, so that when I get to the Hwy 70 exit, I can take that and hopefully get to work without being too late.
As I am creeping along at about 5 miles per hour, a truck and car come whizzing by me, on the shoulder of the road!
Um, excuse me. What in the hell makes you think that you are too dam good to wait in traffic?
This really p*sses me off when people do this! I can only hope they ran over some type of debris and will have a flat tire later today! HeHeHe!
Anyway, had to vent this morning! Hope everyone has a good day! :-)

I guess I'm a little jaded. Someone slammed into my sister at a stoplight in Ashville. Completely the other drivers fault. Her car was totalled. . .they are not even offering her enought to replace her car. She is a grad student/intern. . .so she really can;t afford it, and she shouldn't have to. . .

Yeah. . .only then you'll be stuck paying the difference of having the door fixed becasue insurance only pays $5.00. It really pays to be a safe driver, huh?
