This week our school started selling bracelets to help support Chip on his climb to Mt.Everest. These bracelets are red and black. A lot of students and teachers have purchased these awesome bracelets. I think this is a great way to say that we support Chip and that we really do care about him. Keep checking our blogs for more updates on the Mt. Everest projects.

This week the students at Martin Middle School raised $2000 to help support a school in Nepal. We sold 1000 bracelets with each one at two dollars. At first, it seemed like nobody was buying them. But, after the third day, there was sudden interest in the fundraising bands. This fundraising event introduces students to a different lifestyle and the idea of charity. This has not only supported education in Tibet, but has also made the Everest expediton more widely talked about in Martin Middle School.
