comment hours extend to 10pm today

It’s been about two months since we made the much talked about changes to the comments area on news stories, moving to full moderation.
We received a tremendous amount of feedback about the change, as well as a lot of suggestions. We read every word and responded to most.
So if you provided any feedback at all, please know that we received it and we appreciated it a great deal.
One of the major complaints was the 7am-7pm time frame. Many people said they were disappointed that they could not comment once they got home from work or were finally able to wind down after the end of a busy day.
So, as of TODAY stories will be open for comments through 10pm.
