Who saw the recent miniseries "Comanche Moon" and what did you think?

I thought the casting was excellent, the actors really caught the nuances of Woodrow Call and Gus McCrae. There was lots of action, some of it brutal, with some oddball characters and a great story.

My husband evidently liked it because he was glued.I did not watch it...women were Bichn too much or crying.the entire show was too noisy.

I loved Lonesome Dove, Open Range, etc... and always watch those re-runs. Saw Comanche Moon on the second night - turnied it off so I can watch it from the beginning when it airs again. Sounds like it was good!

oopps that is supposed to be respeacted the land. They were indeed good people who really were treated horribly in their time.

I was so dissappointed because it was on part 2 when I knew about it so I just decided to hopefuuly wiat for the series to return on TV or maybe on a dvd. I hated to start it in the middle. I would so loved to have seen it because I love to see how graceful the natives were in the past. I would have myself liked to have lived in those days when you could learn the true ways of their heritage. No one loved the land and drespected it more than the natives. Anyone who knows of its showing again please remember me and let me know.

I wanted to see that. That is my type of show. How was it? I always loved Lonesome Dove, as deer said.

Glad to hear that this was good. We're big Larry McMurtry fans... books, movies, the works. We've even read Comanche Moon.

I was leary of the absences of Tommy Lee Jones and the rest of the guys from "Dove", but I'll watch for Comanche Moon to air again.

I cought bits and pieces of it and wished I'd seen them all. I love the Lonsome Dove book and movie. When I was in Korea someone had the movie on VHS and every Saturday we went to the day room and watched while drinking beer and eating pizza.
