WRAL is making a couple of changes. One is great, IMO. They are going to allow us to comment on EVERY article on this site! That's a great thing.
With this great change, they are also making another, not-so-great change. This is the text describing the second change that I disagree with:
"With a change of this magnitude, we have also made the decision to moderate all comments before they appear on the site, with the intent of weeding out the few who try to derail a conversation with off topic or abusive comments."
This second change is a deal-breaker for me. I (for one) will no longer post comments on WRAL articles if they proceed with this change. I hate the super-moderated articles. They do not flow well at all. Sometimes I want to post a timely reply. Sometimes I want someone else to reply to me in a timely fashion. Moderated articles do not allow for quick posts.
If you agree with me, then please make some noise. Maybe we can get them to cancel the second change!
