meeker's hypocrisy
Published Jan. 8, 2008 So, it turns out that our Green Mayor Meeker uses about 50% more water in HIS household than what he wants us to use....otherwise out comes the surcharge stick. Of course, none of these draconian actions would he required, had the Mayors office been executing its responsibilities in regards providing the infrastructure that his constituents pay him to manage. Never mind the fact that rain barrels only work if it rains sufficiently (at which point, presumably we'd not need them).
Is it just me, or was Mayor Meeker smoking some of that confiscated weed, when he proposed this hare-brained proposal ( which will solve nothing other than perhaps keeping him from being ever chosen for elected office again) ?
