The framing crew is moving right along with the garage. In just a few days, they have it this far.
While they have been working on the garage, we had the concrete poured on the front porch. I've added a new image gallery to show those pictures.
I'm a little nervous because they have removed the roof over the living room, mud room and part of the kitchen. Of course, they are calling for rain, which we desparately need. Hopefully the tarps will hold up against the winds. My only concern is that the hard wood floors will be damaged it it rains inside the house.
It's been a lot of work to get to this point, but now everything is moving forward (construction) rather than tearing out and repairing (destruction). Progress every day!
