How would you like to be someone's Santa Claus ?
There is a family that I would love to help out for Christmas. But being unemployed at this time, I am unable to do much.
A woman and her five little girls (ages 3 - 9), recently moved into a small rental house across the street from us. I have an eleven year-old daughter who has befriended the little ones. My daughter told me that their Father had recently died in a motorcycle accident. She was also told that the girls were being home schooled, due to their financial situation.
I have a woodshop and am going to build them a basic swingset, but I am afraid that they will not be seeing much of Santa Claus without a little help.
These girls will be spending their first Christmas without their Father. It would be so nice for someone that is in a position to do so, would make this a special Christmas for these five little girls.
If you would like to help, please email me and I will forward the Mother's name and their address. And thank all of you, and have a Great Holiday Season!

I am a retired Police Officer (not old enough to collect) and not employed at this time. I am trying to help out this Single Mother and her five little girls, whose father died in a motorcycle accident (read the above post).
I am building them a wooden swing set, buts that's all I can afford to do. Would you like to help them have a good Christmas? If so, please respond to the email listed in the blog. Thanks to Everyone !!!

It is pretty tough to have 5 children without a father. It is good you are trying to be a secret Santa.
There are a couple of children that go to school with my children that have recently lost parents. My heart goes out to all kids that lose their parents.

I realize that there are a lot of Charities out there, but this is a chance to help out a Single Mother and Five little girls who recently lost their father.
I found out from my daughter (who played w/ the girls yesterday), that they do not have a Christmas Tree, she said the TV in the living was the same size as her bedroom set (a 9").
I have a had a pretty good response so far, from some very nice people. But it would be nice to see more help so no one has to bear more than they should.
Please contact me at the above email for their info. Gift certificates, some new toys, maybe some clothing ... Whatever your heart tells you! Be a Santa Claus!
