newsroom 360

I've been experimenting with Virtual Reality imaging (VR) - which allows a 360 degree horizontal and 180 degree vertical view of a scene. Basically, you can view any angle from one perspective. It involves taking multiple shots around, then up and down, then using software to stitch them together. It's a bit of trial and error and can be pretty frustrating, but it's pretty cool when finished! I did the first one of the WRAL-TV newsroom, and I plan to do others at places where I shoot my assignments.

Hint: Click on the image and drag your mouse to move around. You can go left, right, up or down. Also you must have the latest flash player (v9) to view this.
