is either party considering the south?
Published Nov. 9, 2007Both parties can win without the south but it will be very difficult, so why are both parties ignoring the south.
Lets look at the candidates...a woman...hard sell in the south...a man of mixed race...hard sell in the south...edwards...hard sell anywhere....I do not have to say much about any of these candidates...the democrats havent won in 50 years without the south. I think anyone can see the draw backs of these people. Hillary....my object...i dont trust that woman at all...she was all hillary clinton till bill won then it was...hillary rodham clinton...then my next issue with her...i dont care about bill and monica...but did you read the starr report....i mean the footnotes? I would crush my husbands spine before such details were revealed to my kidlet. No respect. Obama has no experience. Edwards....well we are from nc i dont even have to go there..but let me tell you dole is no prize either.
rudy...hard sell in the south my my my look at his marriages ..how could he be endorsed by robertson when he had his wife and mistress both living (i think at the same time or close to it ) in the governors mansion. No the family value thing will be lost forever just like the war service think was lost when clinton was elected.
mccain ...been there did that..wont make it....not sure how i feel about mccain.
mitt: mormon lol o pleae .....when or if he get nomination the religious haters are gonna be full on and there is a lot of odd stuff about mormons. I guess no more odd than any other religion but mormons got some weird spin on things and as this comes out...he will quickly lose a lot of the republican base. You do realize only a married or sealed women goes to the upper levels of heaven but its beyond me to explain it. and then the special garments.....
my point being...we aint gonna have no knight in shining armour...this is what we got to pick from people.....how do you feel about this....i feel depressed? This is the best our country has to offer????

1: war finish it and get out....or admit we have no intentions of ever returning iraq to the people of iraq and flat take it over...
2: spending better use of my tax dollars etc
3: illegals regardless of country of origin. I hear people whine all the time about mexicans ...look at the other illegals here too...mexicans are just easier to id..than say canadians...or brits..etc...
4: safety not big scale...but the same things..secure 5: more enforcement and funding of laws we have on books
issues i could care less about:
1. abortion...majority of americans are for limited abortion rights....face it if either party was serious about it ..something would have been done by now
2. walls around borders...the funniest/saddiest video i saw was bush giving and interview in front of the wall and illegals are jumping the fence behind him....
3. gay marriage...dont care dont care dont care most hetro cants stand married why expect gays too?

I think the rest of them could handle her pretty easily if they don't lose focus.
I agree on Fred - I haven't seen a fire in the belly and, frankly, I disagree with him on a lot of issues. (Campaign finance, for one.)
