Published Sep 29, 2007BREAKING NEWS:Fox50 turns into MyFoxRaleigh!!
Fox 50 has now been sucked into the MyFox theme, a new theme fox has been introducing in local stations around the nation. The new theme includes a graphics change to a cube logo, and a plastic- fake looking website logo. Just take a look at the new website- myfoxraleigh.com .Its gotton quite a makeover. What will be really interesting is to see what happens in the ways of news. Most MyFox stations in other markets produce their own news. But as we all know, WRAL produces Fox50's morning and nightly news. So will WRAL continue to produce their news or will MyFoxRaleigh become their own news branch? We shall see...
UPDATE: Fox50 sent me this e-mail in regard to the new branding of the website: Actually the website is completely separate from our daily broadcasts. While still FOX, the website is like another “channel” for us to bring more info to viewers/users via another medium. Our newscasts will continue to be produced by our sister-station WRAL.
