my president has failed me.

    I admit to being conservative in my views and never thought that I would not be proud of a GOP Prez, but I have to finally admit my dissappointment w/ Mr.Bush. A truly deficient man in this arena. As a C student,I have to wonder if his C grades were bought and paid for by his Daddy.

      To see Osama Bin Laden still able to make taunting videos after six years is really a testament to this administration`s failure.While the world is probably a better place without Saddam Hussein,we are not in a good place on the world stage.George Jr. could have ben one of the best presidents ever.Think about him standing at ground zero on Thurs.9/13/01 with the destroyed WTC towers behind him and professing to get those responsible.This man was given the biggest platform ever to propel himself and this country into heroes and what are we? Broke and Beaten.

     I`m sorry,but if only President Reagan had been the president now.

Right on Lee Harvey, and you too, Bones. I was raised to be a socially conscientious liberal D, and this war makes me feel like I'm suffocating. And whereas I can't say you and I share a history with Republicanism, I do agree with your statement: "While the world is probably a better place without Saddam Hussein, we are not in a good place on the world stage." My heart breaks for the deaths of our US soldiers and their families. You're right Wolfie--everyone needs to vote.

on 9/12 the world stood with us....but personal agendas got in the way..and lets not even discuss the 9 billion dollars flown into iraq from the us that disappeared????? bush and his cronies are making fortunes while young men and women die....he is not a conservative he is a hate and fear person...look at his spending...

Yes, he did me as well. But Clinton did before him and on and on. Our presidents and congressmen, senators have stop being public servants to it's subjects and gone for who can help out the most for what I want syndrome. He done things ways I don't understand but I will thank him for the medicare prescription plan. Even if it plays out next year, he least brought us something after 8 years of empty promises from democrats.

I know how you feel, Kevin. It only reinforces the fact that we need to get out there and vote. Statistics show that only a small percentage of the population actually vote. That is very sad...because, in third world countries, the come out in droves. When we look at our leaders, we have no one to blame but ourselves...we did it...because, we didn't care enough to get out there and do something as simple as vote. I am a long time Democrat but I don't think twice about crossing party lines because I vote for the man and not the party. And, Kevin, this election isn't looking much better. I guess if I had to pick anyone right now, it would be Fred Thompson. :)
