house project: "official" schedule

First, I would like to tell everyone, "You're welcome!" See, I knew it would happen! I was absolutely certain! If you believe in fate (or more like Murphy's Law), I was certain that once we started cutting this house up, the weather would shift and we could expect rain! Sure enough! We have the wall beams exposed and we're expecting a some rain this exact weekend! Geez! If I'd known it was that easy, we could have cut in apart sooner!
OK, on a serious note, it's official! We have a move date. We THOUGHT it would be this up-coming weekend, but we were delayed by one week. So, drum roll please,...... On Saturday, September 15th, at 8:30 am, the mover and crane will begin lifting the house and placing it on the trailers. The house will hit the road on Sunday (Sept. 16) - I don't know the exact time, but it will be very early in the am! Then, finally, on Monday, Sept. 17, the mover will place the lower level over the footings and the crane will set the upper level in place.
That's when our 'fun' will begin and we can start doing the restoration work ourselves.
WOO HOO!!!!
Just wanted to give a quick update. I've been super busy these past two days, but things are finally rolling along well! I'll be sure to update as new developments arise!
