3 small or 2 large packages of Stuffing Mushrooms
1 package of Neese's Country Sausage(Type depends on preference, I use with XTRA Sage)
1 8 ounce package of Phillies Cream Cheese.
De-stem mushrooms and wash, set in baking pan for easier stuffing.
Cook sausage and drain. Add cream cheese and stir together as much as possible.
Stuff mushroom caps liberally, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Bring out, allow to cool for a minute, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese
There will be some grease from the sausage, so it must be taken out of pan.
Put onto serving plate and try not to get run over.
I tried this recipe on a friend who swore she would never eat fungus, now she eats "fungus" on just about everything. This is always a hit everywhere.
