Happy Friday the 13th! Today we will make predictions on the 2nd half of the baseball season. The All-Star game is behind us and we can now look forward to crowning a World Series champion. Don't worry, my preseason football outlook will come in August. For now - let's talk some baseball!
Predictions:
NL
Playoff teams: Mets, Cubs, Padres and Dodgers
Who knows?! I'll take the Mets right now even though I think the Cubs may be the team to beat.
AL
Playoff teams: Boston, Detroit, LA Angels and Cleveland
I think it will come down to a Boston/Detroit showdown for the pennant. I'll take the Tigers - but just barely.
World Series: Tigers over Mets in 5 games.
