Goldsboro, N.C. — An 18-year-old was found dead Thursday morning in a Goldsboro neighborhood, police said.
Officers responding to a report of a person down were dispatched to 414 Seymour Drive shortly after 7 a.m. They found Shabazz Arness Woods of 402 E. Mulberry St. dead in the yard from an apparent gunshot wound.
His body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for an autopsy.
No other details were released.
