Goldsboro teen charged in armed robbery

— Goldsboro police charged a 17-year-old man Thursday in connection with an armed robbery that injured a worker.

Investigators accused Ar-raqib Ahad Hardy used a gun to rob Scott Berkeley while he worked at 804 S. Best St.

Hardy faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping and assault inflicting serious injury. He was being held in the Wayne County Jail Friday under a $150,000 secured bond.

    it takes a village to raise a child must be failing or whomever is is in charge of the villages in goldsboro, durham, and fay. must be failing really bad.

    I bet he already had a mug shot too. Seems it'd be easier to work than to go through all the effort of commiting this crime. Oh well, another "Not So" model citizen off the streets. Good job Goldsboro P.D.
