Goldsboro squad busts two on drug trafficking

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad arrested two men Monday in a cocaine bust. Investigators seized approximately 28 grams of the drug, Sheriff Cary Winders said.

Carlos Daniel Medina, 29, of 1904 Indian Springs Road in Mount Olive, and Sergio Abrego Tinoco, 33, of 3809 Vancroft Circle Apt C-4 in Winterville, were being held in the Wayne County jail.

Medina is charged with four counts of trafficking in cocaine. He was held on $50,000 secured bond.

Tinoco was charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine. His bond was set at $20,000.
