Goldsboro police searching for man suspected in Christmas Eve shooting

Police are looking for a Garner man in connection with the Christmas Eve shooting of a Goldsboro man, authorities said Tuesday.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a Garner man in connection with the Christmas Eve shooting of a Goldsboro man, authorities said Tuesday.

Christopher Dre Myatt, 22, of 9223 Old Cascade Drive, is wanted on one count of attempted first-degree murder in case of Daniel Clark, 44, who was shot multiple times on Dec. 24.

Clark was being treated at Vidant Medical Center in Greenvile for his injuries.

Investigators haven't commented on a motive for the shooting.
