GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor, police said Friday.

Tamarius MonQuee Bryant, 19, of 110 BJ Drive, surrendered Thursday and was charged with four counts of first-degree statutory sex offense and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He was being held in the Wayne County jail under a $500,000 bond.

Police said the charges stem from alleged sexual assaults involving an 11-year-old child over the past five years.
