Posted May 2, 2011

— A Goldsboro man faces several charges, including attempted murder, in connection with crimes that happened last month, police said Monday.

Daktari Harris, 19, of 1106-B Olivia Lane, was arrested Friday in connection an armed robbery on Olivia Lane. He was charged with robbery with assault with a deadly weapon and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators later charged him with two counts of attempted murder stemming from an April 24 shooting at the Irish Inn on Sunburst Drive.

Police say two men were sitting in their car when Harris approached them and shot one in the arm and the other in both legs.

Harris was in the Wayne County jail under a $250,000 bond Monday afternoon.
