Goldsboro man dies during traffic stop

A 56-year-old man died Thursday during a traffic stop.

DUDLEY, N.C. — A 56-year-old man died Thursday during a traffic stop.

Reginald Sherwood Grady of Scott Street in Goldsboro was stopped by Wayne County deputies on Emmaus Church Road in Dudley regarding a drug investigation. During the stop, Grady started having convulsions, which led deputies to contact paramedics, deputies said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy on Grady to determine the cause of death.
