Goldsboro fire destroys apartment, displaces 2 families
There were no reported injuries when a Goldsboro apartment was severely burned by a fire early Saturday morning, displacing two families.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — There were no reported injuries when a Goldsboro apartment was severely burned by a fire early Saturday morning, displacing two families.
The fire was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. at 124 Vanderbilt Circle. Firefighters reported seeing heavy flames when they arrived on scene.
A woman who lived in one of the apartments said she was a single mother with nine children, but it's unclear if any of the children were at the residence.
The Red Cross was assisting the family.
