Goldsboro arrests convenience store robber
Marquailus Heyward Bryant allegedly robbed the Kangaroo at 901 W. Grantham St. using a gun that had been stolen from a Vanderbilt Circle home in June.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man has been arrested in the robbery of a convenience store Tuesday.
Marquailus Heyward Bryant allegedly robbed the Kangaroo at 901 W. Grantham St. using a gun that had been stolen from a Vanderbilt Circle home in June.
Bryant, 19, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a stolen firearm. He was being held at the Wayne County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
Goldsboro police said they expected to make additional arrests in the case, but asked that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or Investigator Chris Crawford at 919-580-4213.
