Gold Factory employee shot by robber
An employee of the Gold Factory, 5075 Morganton Road in Fayetteville, was shot Thursday night in an attempted robbery, police said.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — An employee of the Gold Factory, 5075 Morganton Road in Fayetteville, was shot around 6:30 p.m. Thursday in an attempted robbery, police said.
Police were looking for two people who they said left the scene in a black, four-door, Mercedes SUV with damage on the driver's side.
The victim of the gunshot, whose name was not released, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The injury was not life-threatening, police said.
