St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money with Raleigh head-shaving event

RALEIGH, N.C. — This is the time of year when many people shave their heads for a great cause - the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

This volunteer-driven nonprofit helps fight children's cancer with funds for research grants. Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer or donate, you'll help give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting cancer.

Here are some St. Baldrick's events coming up in our area:

  • March 10: Duke Children's Hospital
  • March 11: Saints and Scholars Irish Pub in Raleigh
  • March 11: Krafty's Burgers in Garner
  • March 13: Sanderson High School in Raleigh
  • March 16: Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena
  • March 17: Cisco at RTP
  • March 18: Raleigh Beer Garden
  • March 18: White Street Brewing in Wake Forest
  • March 25: Millbrook High School in Raleigh
  • March 25: Rally Point in Cary
  • April 8: Ruckus Pizza in Cary
  • April 10: St. Augustine's in Raleigh
  • April 22: Lonerider Brewery in Raleigh
