Go Ask Mom at Three: Win dinner at Dickey's BBQ

Published: 2013-01-13 20:50:00
Updated: 2013-01-19 08:49:58

This contest is over! Congratulations to our winners: loribmorrison, Gator Girll, moonwalk, amberlbabcock!

We're continuing our month of restaurant giveaways to celebrate Go Ask Mom's third birthday with a big one: Four $25 gift certificates to Dickey's Barbecue Pit!

The certificates are good at the restaurant's locations in Durham on New Hope Commons Drive, at Cary's Crossroads Plaza and on East Davie Street in downtown Raleigh.

Dickey's is a great restaurant for families, offering a kids eat free special on Sundays. Get one free kids meal per paid adult meal of equal or greater value. It's good for kids 12 and under who order a kids meal and dine in the restaurant.

I'm looking for four winners! How do you enter to win? Do one or both of the following:

1. Follow @GoAskMom on Twitter and tweet once about the contest.

2. Answer the following question in the comments below: In our contest with Gigi's Cupcakes, readers shared their favorite local parks. What's your favorite museum, historic site or other destination in the Triangle for families?

This contest ends at noon, Jan. 18. Four winners will be picked at random from all entries. The winners' user names or Twitter names will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. Jan. 18 and an email or message will be sent to the winner, if possible. The winners must respond by 5 p.m., Jan. 22, or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

The Museum of Life and Science and Marbles are both favorites.

Marbles Kids Museum! We have a very active 17month old, and we go there to get some of her energy out! There is so much to do!

We really like White Deer Park. It is free, easy parking, lots of wonderful educational programs and a great use of natural resources.

The Museum of Life and Science!

We really like the Museum of Science in downtown Raleigh. We just love going downtown anyway and seeing the Capital too and all of the other historical buildings.

Thanks for the 2nd option of entering. Some of us don't care to Twitter or Facebook. Nobody with kids should think to posting.

Marbles Museum is awesome, out 2 1/2 year old loves it.

Marbles!

We never get tired of the The Museum of Life and Science in Durham! So much to do and see for everyone.

Marbles!

We love the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and the new wing! I take my 7th grader almost every track out - and he is no straight A kid or diligent student, but he really likes it. We easily spend 4-5 hours there each time. Love. It.

We really like the outdoor drama in Snow Camp (it might not be exactly a part of the "Triangle," but it is only a short drive away). Each summer they present two historical dramas, two children's plays, and one musical. They are always great shows, and the prices are very reasonable (only $5 for the children's shows). There is also a restaurant on site where you can have lunch or dinner with the characters before each children's show (must pre-register for that). My kids love it!

Marbles!
