Go Ask Mom playdate

We have a fun morning planned at North Hills next Wednesday! We'll be out there as part of the complex's morning North Hills Kids program.

North Hills Kids offers play time for kids on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Find it on the commons next to Ben & Jerry's and Starbucks.
In addition to all of the fun activities, we also will be collecting diapers and wipes for The Diaper Train, which distributes diapers to needy families in Wake County. The group takes new packages of diapers and opened ones. So if you have some diapers around your house that your children are too big for, here's a great way to get rid of them.

Here's the schedule:

Stroller Strides will offer a free class at 9:30 a.m. for moms and their kids. This is a fun workout for moms of all abilities that includes their kids as well. To claim your spot ahead of time, go to this website to register online. Dress to exercise and bring a water bottle and snacks and toys for your little one. The group will meet in front of North Hills' movie theater. Get there 10 to 15 minutes early if this is your first class.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office and New York Life Insurance Company will offer free child IDs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lil' Chef, the cooking studio for kids and teens in North Hills, will be there with a fun activity and craft from 10 a.m. to noon.
Wild at Art Kids will have supplies to make a spring-themed craft and Mother's Day cards from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kids can explore First-in Fire Company's fire truck when it arrives at 10:30 a.m.
The Chick-fil-A cow will stop in for a visit from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Singer-songwriter Rissi Palmer will perform music from her family album at 11 a.m.
And more, including a visit from Oscar William Cotton Candy Co.!

So, mark your calendars! We hope to see you there!

And make plans to play with us again on July 8 at North Hills' new Midtown Park. We'll return in the late summer or early fall during North Hills' Midtown Farmers' Market on Saturday morning.

North Hills is on Six Forks Road near its intersection with the Beltline.
