The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their game to the PNC Arena on Friday night. These shows are always fun and family friendly. Part basketball, part comedy - it is definitely something that everyone can enjoy! Fans also get to help make the rules this time around through Twitter and live voting. Tickets start at $18.

The Durham Bulls are getting ready for the season with a fan fest this Friday and Saturday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. It is the opening day of ticket sales. Wool E. Bull will be there taking photos and signing autographs. There will be inflatables to play on and select merchandise will be half off.

Tir na Nog in Raleigh is trying to break the Guinness World Record for largest kilted run on Saturday. The run starts at 2 p.m. and entry is $20. Following that race, there will be an 8K run. If you sign up for the 8K you automatically get into the kilt run. Following the runs, Tir na Nog will have live Irish music and a party.

It is March and that means it is time to go bald to help fight children's cancer! St. Baldrick's events are planned throughout the Triangle in March and one of the first will be Saturday at Napper Tandys in Raleigh. The first shave starts at 11 a.m. Turn out to get shaved or cheer the folks on! 

Four North Carolina bands will take the stage at Lincoln Theatre Saturday night in hopes of being named the Last Band Standing. Big Fat Gap, Mac and Juice Quartet, The Beast and The Deluge are competing for a cash prize and a spot as an opening act at Band Together NC's concert this Spring. General admission tickets for Last Band Standing are $10. All net proceeds from Saturday's show go to the Tammy Lynn Center which helps provide educational, residential, therapeutic and family support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.


Nas with special guest DMX will play the Durham Performing Arts Center on Sunday night. This exclusive concert will be hosted by Durham’s own 9th Wonder, a Grammy winning producer, DJ and college lecturer. Tickets are still available. They start at $50.
