Giveaway: McDonald's McCafe Prize Pack

Posted May 13

Local McDonald’s restaurants are celebrating teachers with a McCafe Prize Pack giveaway and everyone is eligible to win!

Teachers spend the year inspiring and encouraging so many.

This National Teacher Appreciation Week, McDonald's wants to honor and celebrate them, and all that they do by gifting them with a #McCafeMoment.

Everyone deserves a #McCafeMoment to relax, unwind and reflect. McDonald’s is there to help provide that by offering a cup of McCafe coffee - made with sustainably sourced 100% Arabica beans, expertly roasted and freshly brewed every 30 minutes. Whether you take it with cream and sugar or prefer it to shine on its own, we hope you enjoy!

My English teacher inspired me to be a better person while encouraging me to be a better writer and reader. I still keep in touch with her to this day, and I graduated 27 years ago!

The moment I realized I wanted to be a teacher is a long one, but I will simply say that I had a beautiful, smart and loving cousin with Down's Syndrome who had more compassionate in her baby finger than most people have in their bodies. I remember, as a little girl of about 6-7, thinking that it would be awesome to help work with her and show all f those "ney-sayers" that she was a VERY smart young lady! She passed many years ago but will forever live in my heart....AND I must give a shout-out to the teacher who made me who I am today...besides my Mom, Ms. McIver at Cleveland Middle. She was TOUGH as nails but loved us so much!

The moment I realized I wanted to be a teacher was when my son became old enough to go to school. I wanted to be with him during the summers and teach the younger students like him.

Knowing that everyone in my family teaches it made me realize how important a role teachers play and how rewarding it can be to many different types of people
