Giveaway: 4 tickets to Chuy's VIP event 4/18

Chuy's is celebrating the opening of their second store in the Triangle with a VIP event at the new location in Cary. They are giving away 4 tickets to one lucky Smart Shopper reader which includes free dinner for each person on April 18!

Triangle residents can soon get a second helping of their Tex-Mex favorites when Chuy’s opens their second Triangle location in Cary's Parkside Town Commons shopping center off Hwy. 55.

For more than 30 years, Chuy’s has been offering made-from-scratch Tex-Mex . The menu includes dishes made from hand-rolled tortillas cooked fresh all day on a traditional comal in the dining room and homemade signature sauces ranging from the mild tomatillo to their spicy Hatch Green Chile. It showcases authentic recipes found in South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns.

The new location will be in a newly-constructed, standalone building and will include a vibrant atmosphere along with several design elements unique to Chuy’s, including an Elvis Shrine, the La Chihuahua Bar featuring framed pictures of local dogs, a “school” of hand-carved wooden fish, metal palm trees and a hubcap-covered ceiling.

To celebrate, Chuy's is inviting one lucky reader to join them (along with 3 other guests) at their VIP event on Monday, April 18. All guests will enjoy a free dinner and first-look at the new restaurant including their fully-loaded nacho car, a free build-your-own nacho station with chips, salsa, queso, ground sirloin and more.

All proceeds from alcoholic beverages will benefit the Inter–Faith Food Shuttle – their restaurant's charity of choice!
