It's time for the 3rd annual Shop Downtown holiday campaign and we are giving away a $30 gift certificate to any one of the participating downtown Raleigh retailers! This is a great way to shop locally and find some fabulous holiday gifts!

Here are some more details about the new  Holiday Shopping Passport program and the  Shop Downtown website from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance—the program organizers:

Holiday Shopping Passport Program

The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is coordinating a Holiday Shopping Passport program. Shoppers may pick up Holiday Passports starting Saturday, November 17 at participating stores and receive a sticker for every $20 spent. Once a passport is filled with five stickers, shoppers may drop it off at a participating store to be entered to win one of $3,000 worth of prizes! The Holiday Shopping Passport program runs from Saturday, November 17 through Monday, December 24. Winners will be selected on Thursday, January 3 and notified via e-mail. Winners will need to pick up their prize at the Downtown Raleigh Alliance.  Their website has details .

Shop Downtown Website

The new, interactive Shop Downtown website makes accessing information about shopping opportunities in downtown Raleigh quick and easy. The website features a live twitter feed, an interactive map, and information about new businesses, seasonal offers and events. There are over 30 retailers on the Shop Downtown store list including clothing boutiques, art galleries, wine stores, museum shops, jewelry stores and many other specialty shops!
