Hiring Day Details

More than 150 local, family-owned McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Triangle and Sandhills area are hosting a Hiring Day on Thursday, June 2 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. They’re collectively looking to fill more than 450 part-time and full-time positions.

Did you know that based on several business resources, one in every eight Americans has worked at McDonald’s? Have you?

McDonald's believes this is because each employee is provided the tools, world-class training and marketable life skills that serve them well wherever their careers take them. Gain skills like teamwork, reliability, customer service, accountability and leadership. McDonald’s also provides flexible schedules, growth opportunities and educational programs to all employees for every position. At every step of the way, McDonald’s helps employees experience, learn, advance and unlock their full potential.

If interested in learning more, you can visit MyLocalMcDs.com to fill out an application prior to attending Hiring Day where you will get to interview with a manager one-on-one.

My favorite job was working as a nanny for a couple middle school girls. It was fun because the girls were old enough that they really just needed to be entertained and not cared for so we spent three summers just having fun and going places together!

My most favorite job was working at a convenient store BP. The interaction with the customers and over time the relationship I build with them. They become family.

My favorite job is teaching children Birth-K. Children are beautiful and want to learn. It is rewarding to watch them learn new things.
