Vend Raleigh, the fantastic local group that supports mompreneurs, will host a Spring Sip and Shop on Thursday to benefit Postpartum Education and Support, a local group that's made a big difference in the lives of a lot of local moms.

It's 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in downtown Apex. The event features Vend Raleigh members selling direct sale items or handmade goods such as jewelry, skin care, purses, home decor, kitchen gadgets, baby items and more.

The evening also includes door prizes, wine and appetizers.

All proceeds and raffle ticket sales will go to Postpartum Education and Support, which offers support for mothers and their families, provides resources for health care providers, and heightens public awareness of perinatal mood disorders.
