Girl reunited with her family after leaving Wilson's Mills home

Wilson's Mills police were trying to identify a young girl early Wednesday after she was found walking on Swift Creek Road at about 5:45 a.m.

— A child who wandered away from her home early Wednesday has been found safe and returned to her family, Wilson's Mills police said. 

The child was found walking on Swift Creek Road in Wilson's Mills at about 5:45 a.m. She was reunited with her family at about 7:15 a.m. 

Authorities said no charges will be filed.

    Oh, our little ones can be so sneaky. I'm glad she's okay. I'm sure her parents were sick with worry. Thank God she made it home safely.

    So glad there aren't comments up here about charging the parents. That's all I saw on facebook about it this morning. Obviously those people don't have small, sneaky children lol. Thankful this little girl is home safe now!
