O.K. So I see I must properly ask why this no load story with no info was written in the first place without hurting the feelings of the powers that be without being sensored..whatever..why bother print something until it is worth printing except starting a rumor mill?

Travis--Thank you for saying it better than I could. I do hope she will get along OK and I hope your child understands that accidents can happen. You can' put respect in some people . They have to learn it and in order to do that they have to have compassion.

To those of you who have no clue, you should be ashamed of yourselves. My son was there at the time of the accident and you should think about the others who witnessed this accident. How do you think the little ones who are old enough to understand that this child may or may not die. Secondly, Waldo Beach has no diving board or even a deep enough section to dive into. Those of you who have never had a child in some type of situation as this should have respect for the family. You should be praying that this innocent little girl is ok and that her family is coping as best that they can.

phil...I suspect she was going from the dock or board into the water. My daughter was diving at age 5, diving and swimming competitively at age 6. I agree with the why report it...must have been a slow news day in Fayetteville.

what was she doing driving at age 9?

Maybe all the facts aren't known at the time the story was written?
