RALEIGH, N.C. — We love attending the Fire in the Triangle events. For the past two years, Out and About served as the official bloggers for this "Iron Chef"-like culinary competition. During that time, we had some great meals prepared with North Carolina ingredients.
The dates for the 2015 Got to Be NC Competition Dining Series have been announced and tickets are on sale now, just in time for the holiday season! The Fire in the Triangle dinners start in January with the winner being crowned March 2. Below are a list of dates and the prices for each round. Note: All prices exclude beverages.
  • Preliminary battles are Jan. 19-Feb. 3 - Tickets are $55 plus tax and service
  • Quarterfinal battles: Feb. 9-17 - Tickets are $59 plus tax and service
  • Semifinal battles: Feb. 23-24 - Tickets are $69 plus tax and service
  • Final battle: March 2 - Tickets are $75 plus tax and service

All battles will be at 1705 Prime, at 1705 E. Millbrook Road in Raleigh. The competitors for this year have not been announced. Flights' Dean Thompson has taken home the title two years running.

The Fire in the Triangle winner will compete against the winners of the Fire in the City and Fire in the Triad for the Final Fire crown!
