Getaway vehicle sought in Cumberland double slaying

Cumberland County investigators are searching for a minivan they believe might have been used as a getaway car in a shootout that killed two Fayetteville men this past spring.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County investigators are searching for a minivan they believe might have been used as a getaway car in a shootout that killed two Fayetteville men this past spring.

Investigators said that gunfire erupted in a home at 3921 Donna St. on May 8, killing Rodriguez Odell Harris, 23, and Terrell Boykin, 19.

An older, burgundy Dodge Caravan with sliding panel doors was seen driving away from the area, authorities said. The license plate number hasn't been identified.

Investigators have questioned several people in connection with the shootout, but haven't made any arrests.
