Yep! Another reminder ... today is the day when you can take advantage of Go Ask Mom discount on a family membership at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.

Today, June 5, you can get a family membership for $55 instead of $70 to the downtown Raleigh museum. All you need to do is ask for the "Go Ask Mom 5" special at the museum box office or museum stores or enter the code GOASKMOM5 when purchasing a family membership online. Again, this is good only today, June 5!

Regular admission to the natural sciences museum is, of course, free. And that led to a question on our Facebook page about why you'd even need a membership since you can just walk in without paying admission.

Free admission to special exhibits including the current Rainforest Adventure, a fun exhibit for kids ages 3 to 12 and their adults. Members also can look forward to free admission to the next big special exhibit: The World's Largest Dinosaurs, which opens in October. Members can see these exhibits multiple times. My family has been to Rainforest Adventure several times. We went to the Birds of Paradise exhibit countless times as well.
