Gerald Owens, local celebs step behind the bar for charity

Raleigh, N.C. — In this month's Celebrity Bartender Event at Zinda, WRAL-TV's Gerald Owens will serve drinks to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, along with other local celebs.
Celebs bartend to support local ALS chapter The event is part of a year-long series at the restaurant to raise money for charities and nonprofit organizations. On the second Wednesday of every month, local personalities will become bartenders for the night. Ten percent of bar proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Gerald will be joined by Sharon Delaney and Valonda Calloway of My Carolina Today, Kitty Kinnin of 101.7 The River, Dave Kent of 93.9 KISS FM, Greg McNamara of The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Kendra Leonard of The Art of Style Boutique.
Come out and support a great cause! The event is fun and free. Fundraising will be from 6-9 p.m. this Wednesday.
