Gather your diapers! Diaper Bank hosting April drive

Posted April 10, 2016

Our packaged stack of diapers.

The Diaper Bank of North Carolina, which does great work distributing diapers to agencies that help needy families across the region and state, is hosting a diaper drive this April to build up a supply to ensure they can meet the demand.

The nonprofit is asking people to reach out to their co-workers, groups, churches and friends to organize individual drives. For more information about how to get involved, contact the diaper bank at or 919-886-8085.

This would be a great opportunity for playgroups, preschools, moms groups, neighborhoods and more to really make a difference for a lot of little babies in North Carolina. If you have opened bags of unused diapers that your kids are too big for, the bank is happy to accept those diapers.

I've written a lot about this great Durham-based group, which has donated tens of thousands of diapers in the last several years. It offers great opportunities to give back and get involved.
