Raleigh, N.C. — A gas leak caused by a construction crew forced the closure of some travel lanes on Glenwood Avenue at Whitaker Mill Road near Five Points in Raleigh Thursday afternoon.
PSNC officials said a third-party crew struck lines on Whitaker Mill Road around 1:30 p.m.
The line is expected to be repaired by 9 p.m.
Most roads in the area had reopened by 8 p.m. but a portion of Whitaker Mill road in front of Hayes Barton Baptist Church and a section of Glenn Avenue next to Yadkin Bank remained closed.
