GARNER, N.C. — Characters Quarters, a Garner restaurant and bar, was featured on Spike TV's "Bar Rescue," and had their grand reopening Friday night.
The restaurant is now MoonRunners Saloon, and the reveal was a huge success. The line stretched through neighboring parking lots as people waited to be let in. According to an update from the owners, the reopening was fantastic and they ran out of moonshine.

"This has truly been a rewarding experience and we are excited to transition with the new name and continue providing excellent food, drinks, and service," the email said.

The camera crews are all gone, but you can still stop by MoonRunners and check out the new and improved restaurant. I'm hoping to make it there soon! Regular business hours resume this week.

We heard that the episode will air sometime this summer, but we'll definitely be keeping an eye out for a specific date.

On "Bar Rescue," nightlife expert Jon Taffer and his team redo bars that are on the verge of closing or in significant financial debt. They teach the bar and kitchen staff proper techniques and completely redo the menu and physical appearance of the location.
