Garner reschedules 'National Night Out'

A "National Night Out" event that was rained out this month in Garner has been rescheduled.

The Garner Police Department, in partnership with Target, with host the event from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the parking lot of Target at White Oak Crossing shopping center at 1040 Timber Drive East.

The event had been scheduled for Aug. 8.

National Night Out is an annual event that brings police and residents together to show their support for anti-crime initiatives.
