Garner police nab two, seek one for robbery attempt

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police are looking for a man suspected of shooting into a home July 1 and attempting to rob the residents.

Dennis Wooten told police that a man tried to rob him outside his apartment at 122 Shady Lawn Court, then shot at him when he ran inside.

Two suspects, Jasmine Lashay Lassiter, 16, and Tasheona Dane Sanders, 16, are already in custody, charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. The third suspect, Gilbert Travis Lorfils, 26, remains at large.

Lorfils is wanted on charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Anyone with information about Lorfils' whereabouts or any additional information on the incident is asked to call the Garner police at 919-772-8810.
