Garner park's outdoor movie, camp out postponed

Garner has postponed Friday night's planned outdoor movie and camp out at Lake Benson Park because of the threat of some afternoon and evening showers and storms.

The event, which features the movie "Wreck It Ralph" has been rescheduled for May 24. Camping reservations are still valid for next week. Campers also can transfer their reservation to the movie and camping night planned for June 14 or just get a refund. "Madagascar 3" is scheduled for the June 14 event.

The movies start around 8:30 p.m. They are free and open to all. The fee to camp is $12 per family for town residents and $15 per family for non-residents.
