Garner man charged in Family Dollar robbery

Police have charged a man with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with a robbery at a Family Dollar in Garner.

GARNER, N.C. — Police have charged a man with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with a robbery at a Family Dollar in Garner.

Timothy Deonte Cooper, 22, of 603 Curtiss Drive, Garner, was jailed Tuesday under a $225,000 bond following the alleged crime, which happened around 6:15 a.m. on Dec. 23 at the store on Plaza Circle.

Investigators say they believe Cooper had an accomplice, but they did not release any information about the possible suspect.
