GARNER, N.C. — Johnston County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Garner man accused of secretly videotaping two girls 10 years ago.

The victims, who were 11 and 12 at the time of the alleged peeping, only recently learned about the videotaping and contacted authorities last month to report it, Capt. A.C. Strickland said Tuesday.

Anthony Lee Friebel, 52, of Kristi Drive, was taken into custody Friday evening as he got off a plane at Raleigh Durham International Airport. During a search of his residence, Strickland said, authorities found child pornography.

Friebel was charged with two counts of secret peeping, two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held in the Johnston County jail under a $500,000 bond.
