A North Carolina man is accused of moving to West Virginia, leaving his wife behind, and marrying another woman, WOWK-TV reported Friday.

<b>GARNER, N.C.</b> — A North Carolina man is accused of moving to West Virginia, leaving his wife behind, and marrying another woman, WOWK-TV reported Friday.

Robert Norris Jr., 58, of Garner, pleaded not guilty to bigamy charges on Friday, the station reported. 

According to court records, Norris married one women in 1987 and then married another woman in Putnam County, W.V. in 2004.

Norris was indicted last month. He was released on a $10,000 bond and allowed to return to North Carolina. His trial is set for February 2011.
